About Us - and Our Approach

Why is YourStory so successful at creating powerful, moving, and compelling films?

It’s experience and truth. We tell your story with honesty, integrity, and purity, and use our talent and expertise of weaving a story by blending archival photographs and film with first-person interviews, new cinematography, music and sound effects to create films that connect emotionally with viewers. In addition to this:

We Listen
YourStory produces elegant, personal documentary films, each one crafted individually. We succeed by listening to you, getting to know you, and understanding what you wish to achieve. Then, we work together to accomplish your goals.

We Do Our Homework
Thoroughness is a key component of YourStory. We conduct a great amount of research in the early stages of each production. What we learn from you, together with our research, guides us in our approach to telling your story. Every film we create is as unique as the story it tells, and receives our personal attention and commitment to the highest level of quality we can provide.

We Include You
Creativity defines success, but creativity cannot be preplanned. Each project reveals magic moments, and remaining open to those moments is something that separates YourStory from others in the field. You are an important part of the process. As we move forward, you will have the opportunity to review your film, and provide feedback ensuring the project is going in the direction you wish.
