Risk: Consequences of a Near Term Birth
"Risk" is an informational video that details the risks involved with an elective premature delivery of a newborn child. Shot entirely in HD, the film captures the emotional and compelling story of two mothers and their collective hardships that followed their late pre-term births at 36 and 37 weeks, with expert medical commentary by Dr. Michele Lauria and Dr. William Edwards of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. We believe that this is an entirely new and original way of conveying complex medical information to patients-- through a story that leaves a deep but accurate impression on viewers.
